We study for establishing
the smart and sustainable energy system
in harmony with environment.

This research department was founded with a donation from Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc., and is conducting research in collaboration with the Nagoya University Research Institute for Materials and Systems.
We aim to build a next-generation energy system based on the needs of society.
We actively disseminate information to society through holding public open lectures. In addition, we will work to pass on technology development experiences to the next generation, and hold tours and lectures for students to develop human resources who will be responsible for the next generation of energy.

We aim to develop key technologies contributing to sustainable and ecological society, such as advanced energy conversion, transmission, and utilization technologies, bioremediation and substance synthesis using microorganisms, energy and environmental impact assessment methods from various points of view.
